Résumé

Né le 13 décembre 1959 à Tunis, M Majdoub a suivi ses études primaires et secondaires au Collège Sadiki de Tunis, il est titulaire d’une maîtrise ès sciences économiques de la faculté de droit et des sciences politiques et économiques de Tunis et a suivi les enseignements de diplôme des études approfondies en économie quantitative à la même université. Il a commencé sa carrière professionnelle en 1982 au ministère de l’économie nationale à la direction de l’énergie. En 1985 il rejoint l’Agence de maîtrise de l’énergie, où il s’occupa des études de la demande et de la prospective énergétique. En 1992 il a servi comme conseiller au cabinet du ministère de l’environnement. Depuis 1993 il est expert-consultant dans les domaines des politiques de l’environnement, du développement local et durable et de l’efficacité énergétique, auprès d’organisations de la coopération internationale au développement, dont l’USAID (1993-1997) et la GIZ (1998-2013). Il possède des compétences confirmées en planification stratégique, en modération et formation des adultes. En outre, M Majdoub est actif dans la société civile, il est initiateur du groupe éco-constitution, président fondateur de "Alternatives" ONG tunisienne de défense des droits environnementaux et membre fondateurs de plusieurs autres associations tunisiennes. M Majdoub est marié et père de trois enfants.

Brief Resume

Born in 1959 at Tunis, Mounir Majdoub is Senior Economist. He began his career in 1982 at the Tunisian Ministry of National Economy as energy economist. In 1985 he was part of the founding team of the National Energy Efficiency Agency (ANME). In 1992 he served as senior advisor to the Minister of Environment. Since October 1993 he works as consultant to organizations for international development cooperation: UNDP, USAID, and GIZ where he occupied recently the position of senior expert in environmental policy and sustainable development. Having a high level of qualification as trainer and moderator, he often served as facilitator of focus groups and community dialogues, especially in environmental health, and urban development. M. Majdoub is founder and president of the Tunisian NGO “ALTERNATIVES” (the eco-constitution Group), and founding member of several NGOs in Tunisia.
