Current Position

September 2005 to date: Economic Expert, Arab Planning Institute (API). The economic expert’s position is the second most senior academic appointment at API and is equivalent to associate professorial status in universities. API is a capacity building and research institution dealing with economic development problems and issues facing the Arab countries. My current portfolio involves me as coordinator of the Consultancy Committee of API which is charged with advising the management on all issues relating to the consultancy process.
